                                                                                                Notice of Public Hearing

 Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of Waterford, New York, will hold a Public Hearing at the Waterford Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York, on September 11, 2023 at 7:30 P.M. in the evening to hear comments concerning an application for review and approval of a commercial site plan and special use permit.

 The property (approximately 136 acres) proposed for review is currently owned by John & Elizabeth McLaughlin of Troy and is located in a section of the town known as Riberdy Grove along the Mohawk River.  The property bisects two zoning districts: R-Rural and L-C.

 Seaboard Solar Operations LLC (“Seaboard”) is a renewable energy company that specializes in the development and operation of large-scale solar projects throughout the northeastern United States. It is submitting an application on behalf of Riberdy Grove Solar LLC and Riberdy Grove Solar West LLC to construct a solar farm.  The Project is a two 5 MW-AC solar photovoltaic project, which includes solar panel arrays, access road, collection lines, interconnection to the grid and associated improvements. The Project itself will sit on approximately 63 acres of the Site

7:45 PM Regular Meeting

  1. 10 – 12 Knox Street – Minor Subdivision for a parcel that is bisected by the Town[1]Village line. Jon and Barbara Terpening propose to subdivide their 1.07 acre property (# 10) into two lots (# 10 & # 12). They intend to construct a home on # 12 which is almost entirely in the Town. Lot # 10 is split between Town and Village. In addition, a variance for insufficient front setback on # 12 is being evaluated by the Zoning Board of Appeals (Public Hearing on September 19th).
