Open to all ages, this educational program is presented by the Waterford Historical Museum and Cultural Center and the Waterford Canal and Towpath Society, with support of the Town of Waterford.
Explore the history of the Erie, Champlain & Barge Canals in Waterford!
Admission will be processed at the Visitors Center at $5 per person and will include a guide booklet for the program and helps support the Waterford Historical Museum and Cultural Center in its mission to share the history of the area.
There will be continuous walking tours of Lock 2, educational displays, and the Town Historian, Russ VanDervoort, will be speaking on the legacy of the canal. Participants can join in the program at any time during the 1pm to 3pm timeframe.
This program will be held outdoors.
