NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF WATERFORD - IMPROVEMENTS TO BENEFIT SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Waterford, Saratoga County, New York, by resolution dated September 3, 2024, ordered that a public hearing be conducted at 6:50 p.m. on October 1, 2024 at a meeting of said Town Board to be held at the Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York 12188, to consider whether it is in the public interest to approve the hereinafter described project:
The Town Board is considering the acquisition of equipment for the use in and benefit of the Town's Sewer District No. 1, consisting of one (1) truck mounted sewer cleaner, at an estimated maximum cost of $535,000.
All persons interested in the aforementioned project, and the subject matter thereof, are invited to attend.

NOTICE ON MEETING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IMPROVEMENTS
TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of Waterford, New York, has completed its assessment roll for improvements of Sewer District No. 1 of the Town of Waterford, consisting of the construction of general sewers in some of the Town streets and highways, and the establishment and equipment of sewage disposal plant in connection therewith, and other related improvement. The assessment roll was filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Waterford on September 1, 2024.
The Town Board of the Town of Waterford will meet at Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, in the Town of Waterford, on October 1, 2024 at 6:55 P.M. to conduct a public hearing on the assessment roll and to consider any objections.

Town Highway Garage- 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Town & Village residents are required to pre-register in order to participate. There is no fee to participate.
Registration forms can be picked up at Town Hall, the Town Highway Garage or printed from the Town of Waterford website and must be returned to Town Hall or the Highway Garage no later than October 15, 2024. Registration form

The Wastewater Department would again like to remind residents to please refrain from dumping/flushing wipes and other non biodegradable materials down your toilet or through your garbage disposals. All of these types of materials should be going in with your household trash.
