Waste Water Treatment Plant
As a result of the stay at home mandate required in New York State, utility services such as Waste Water Treatment Plants are over taxed with materials being flushed thru the system. Residents of the Town are reminded that items such as 'Flushable Wipes" should not be flushed into the waste water system thru your home toilet. Even though these items are labeled as flushable they actually can damage a homeowners lateral line and cause havoc on the Town Waste Water Treatment Plant because they do not disintegrate like toilet paper. Residents are also reminded to place paper towels, personal hygiene products and other paper items in the trash as well to protect the system.
As always we appreciate your cooperation regarding this issue and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Water Water Department at 518-235-2033.
The Waterford Town Court will not be in regular session due to the recent Coronavirus Pandemic. All Non-Essential matters are ADJOURNED Until Further Notice. You will be contacted with a new court date when regular operations begin.
